New Mexico Tram

New Mexico is home to the world's longest airborne tramway. Located in the Sandias, the tram is a perfect place to go. With the fun ride, the breathtaking view, the hiking opportunities, and the wonderful restaraunt with a view at the top, you won't want to miss it.

Ski Taos

Toas is home of the widely acclaimed ski valley. With all kinds of slopes that are well maintained, it's likely to be your greatest winter adventure! It provides many large areas for skiing and entertainment, and the natural beauty is an added bonus

Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta

Now here's an event you simply can't miss! Each fall at the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta grounds, on a select week, hundreds of beautiful balloons take off. In early mornings you can go to watch the takeoffs and enjoy delicious food and various gift shops; on some evenings are the balloon glows (the special shaoe glow is magnificent) where the balloons light their burners, illuminating all the beautiful balloons and lighting up the darkness. Other attractions include balloon races of all types.

Hiking/Sightseeing

When it comes to hiking and sightseeing, there's no place like New Mexico. Be it mountain scenery, rock climbing, waterside trails- you name it- they're all a great experience. There are many opportunites in all areas of New Mexico. There are guided tours- including llama treks where llamas carry your equiptment and you are left to enjoy the scenery. Many other great opportunities for guided trips are along the various winding pass sights.

Places you won't want to miss

Carlsbad caverns (a real cave adventure with bats and rock formations), Aztec National Monument (for a historical adventure), Chaco Canyon, Gila Cliff Dwellings, Rio Grande Zoo, etc. Albuquerque is probably the best city area, where the tram, balloon fiesta, Sandia Mountains, and Carlsbad Caverns all are.
